AB InBev

Leadership academy for 30 global executives in North America

Anheuser-Busch InBev is a multinational drink and brewing holdings company with a history of global M&A. It accounts for ~30% global beer sales volume, with operations in nearly 50 countries. AB InBev has 175,000 employees, representing 100+ nationalities.

the challenge

AB InBev prides itself on the calibre of its people and the unique opportunity it provides for leadership advancement. It tasked us with developing a leadership academy that drives peak performance in emerging and hard-to-assess skills, plus business acumen.

To evaluate AB InBev's needs, we conducted a full audit of the organisation's strategic priorities, alongside review of each leader's development and performance data.

Providing high-impact and quality training is table stakes in today’s market. What continues to bring us back to our partnership with Arieli & Company, is their unwavering commitment to providing sustainable, innovative, and research-driven solutions. Very few partners will roll up their sleeves, jump in the trenches, and partner together to develop something even greater than first anticipated. This differentiation is why our partnership remains so strong.

LC, Global Head of Leadership Development at AB InBev

the solution

We are providing a fully customised leadership academy that combines business theory, business application, and leadership capability building. The programme is delivered in partnership with WashU Olin Business School. Over 8 months, 30 executives attend five in-person trainings, and participate in digital experiences, peer-to-peer collaboration, and personalised performance coaching.

the future

The plan is for the leadership academy to run on an annual basis, and to form a key part of leadership development and capability-building strategy.
