Job Description




We are looking for a graphic designer to lead all aspects of our visual identity and communications. Our work requires intelligent and bold storytelling and communications. We work with senior leaders at best-in-class organisations across the world. We need a sharp and intellectually curious graphic designer. We want someone who cares deeply about being one of the best in their field, and who wants to work for an organisation willing to take the risks required to convey important and impactful messages.

You would report to the Managing Director, and will drive visual concept development, and design and production of digital, print, and event communications for Arieli & Company. This position requires a strong and highly motivated individual who can quickly generate multiple initial concepts and develop them into viable design solutions.

Key Responsibilities




  • Lead the development of creative content strategy and plans; prioritise and integrate these with the company’s strategy and business objectives
  • Articulate and apply the brand DNA, including voice, tone, look, and feel
  • Design and refine various offline marketing materials for both internal and external audiences, including PowerPoint presentations, infographics, style guides, brochures, print ads, social media graphics, and creative toolkits
  • Distil marketing and communications challenges and business goals into focused creative briefs
  • Create original concepts that result in effective and compelling communications
  • Develop breakthrough creative for integrated marketing campaigns that drive engagement
  • Ensure that all in-house and external creative resources are on message, on target, and consistent with defined brand/content strategies
  • Develop design guideline systems and have a passion for typography, art, colour, photography, creative solutions and innovative communication methods
  • Collaborate with internal staff, and external printers, videographers, and other to drive projects to completion
  • Manage day-to-day graphic production needs, keeping up with a calendar of events, work orders, campaigns, and any project-driven deadlines
  • Stay up to date on the evolving design, technology, and media landscape, including the emergence of new standards and protocol





Required Skills & Attributes




  • Portfolio demonstrating concept-driven, forward-thinking, and impactful work for a variety of design briefs, showcasing a variety of applied styles and mediums
  • Strong work ethic
  • Strong sense of craftmanship and high attention to detail
  • Quick learner with a “constant learner” mentality
  • Able to grasp, curate, and communicate complex and nuanced information
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities without missing a deadline
  • Can work well under pressure, maintaining consistent delivery to a high standard
  • Highly observant with ability to pivot approach/content quickly based on fresh insight
  • Strong team player, who can also work well independently and take initiative
  • Strong design skills, with particular strengths in brand design, print design, presentation design (digital), and typography
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud programs, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Highly proficient in MS Office
  • Flexible approach, prioritising the needs of the business
  • Preferred: Ability to create original visual elements, strong illustration skills are a plus
  • Preferred: Strong rhetoric in writing and/or speaking, complemented by articulate use of English (verbal and written)




Qualifications & Experience




  • 2-5 years’ experience in a design-related job
  • Experience in creating print-ready art files for professional production
  • Experience managing production of print-based collateral, including knowledge of printing methods and processes
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a globally leading design course in graphic design, visual communication, architecture (part 1 or higher), or related design
